I thought I may as well be sociable, or perhaps I should say compable.

Geeralying is really just down the road from Narrogin, far enough out of town to leave all the pleasantness of noisy neighbours, rev heads, dogs, kids, cars, motor bikes, thieves(?) and all the rest I left out.

This we traded living in town for 100 acres or 40 ha of dirt, where we have to maintain firebreaks, fix fences, grade our own road, pump our own water for the garden and stock, collect all our own house water free of rates and mice and pump to the house, feed sheep, fix yards, castrate and ear mark lambs, drench and needle sheep, feed chooks, de stick fast flea the chooks, fix the tractor, and now I have to go for tea.

And I was going to say how nice the stars are out here, and the only noise is the wind in the trees or the birds singing......

Yeah - if you just had shares in the bib 'n' brace overalls shop, you'd be set for life down there EB :run:

Rick, you forgot keeping the AP system going, throwing the stick for the dog, and harvesting those really sweet tasting yabbies you have !
