Hey guys, been away for a while. Went to Perth but didnt get a chance to drop into the BYAP shop!

Hops do prefer the cold, they grow really well in Tasmania I hear, a mate of mine was told not to bother because it will never work in Darwin but he is growing the Perle Variety quite successfully.
I think some varieties are more tolerant and hardy than others, so I'll just have to see how they go.

Im still waiting on new chooks so my Isa Browns still live, but the second the new one's are here then the old one's are dog food, from what everyone's said Im not going to bother eating them. I had to pluck a Muscovy the other week and that was hell, ended up skinning it.
