Post subject:  Hi from the Fleurieu Peninsula

Hi, I am Matt and live on a few acres near Ashbourne in South Australia.
I enjoy simple gardening and try to grow a few tomatoes onions and potatoes every year, while my wife keeps horses on most of the acres.
We also keep a few chickens for eggs / fertilizer and my wife breeds Bearded Collies for working / showing.
Looking forward to sharing knowledge about gardening and farming.

Just google mapped your area - looks like lovely rolling green hills :)

Hi Jay, we're a few kilometers from town, basically where the plains start, so there is a bit of diversity around us. The main products are wine, wheat, sheep and cattle, which thankfully are mostly processed locally. Oddly enough we also have a Biodynamic quark factory close by, which keeps a few dairy farmers sustainable and afloat.
