Thanks for the wellcome Simo, Rain situation is pretty haphazard, meaning some get and others get bugger all..here in woody we got over 3 inches thru jan....Katanning.didnt get near as much as us and north ofNarrogin, got jack shit, and lost half the town trees. blown over in a freak storm..... so not sure whose carting and whose ok and whose given up,really.. Heres hoping this winter is catch up year.or well be in strife...I live in woody town,so as a towny it wont be affecting my livelyhoood.though as a "permie food grower"Ill be watching those clouds with interest... Freinds in Katanning have been carting water for a while now, they started a little nursery out on their farm on the Nyabing road behind Katannings airport. Kibbelup Nursery (shamless plug). The poor buggers are hooked to the scheme line but the water board placed a restricter in the line. I know 3000L sounds like alot but it takes 1500L a day for the plants and then house use on top doesn't leave much daily water. |

A restricter in the line? that sucks... So do they pay less for their water connection rates because they are restricted? I bet not... |

Nope...pay the same just don't get the volume....which is fracking stoopid as there is a Mains water tank not 5kms away, if they we less honest people they could fill up their water truck and not record the amount of water they are taking. |
