Hi all

I live on 5 acres in the hills east of Bullsbrook WA on wich I plan to slowly become self sufficient for all food (except grain and supplimented with hunting for some meat), water and energy. I started this off with and aquaponics system, small but expanding orchard and chickens.

I am interested in permaculture, self sustainable living and the environment.

Hi Simo,

I've posted a note about my cherry tree as per your suggestion. I suspect you'd be pushing it uphill to grow one at Bullsbrook. We used to farm at Bindoon so I know your conditions.

My parents have had a farm on Cest Hill Rd for the last 40 years, where was your place?

I know Crest Hill Road, but we were in Owen Road, about 13kms north of the town, just past the Ag College. Called Stone Cottage Farm, it was 120 acres and inside another farm.

Sounds like you were near Peter Hayden?
