Hey Everyone,
My name is Mitch, I'm based in Clayfield Brisbane in an apartment on the third floor. I have a vegie garden.
I spent the first 13 years of my life on a small crops and cattle farm in the Eton Ranges half way between Mackay and Nebo. I miss the 660acre farm and 10,000 acres of surrounding state forest. But life moved me to the south-east. I am now studying full time at Queensland Uni of Technology doing a dual degree in Business Management and Psychology.
I have never stopped being interested in growing my own fruit and vegetables and hope to one day own 40-50 acres somewhere in the foothills with a valley, a bit of flat land and a year round creek.
Want to get some Charolais Angus cattle, deer (I love venison, but haven't found a butcher with it yet), pigs, rabbit, chooks, turkey and whatever else I can raise or grow myself + extensive orchards and vegetable gardens. I'm pretty keen on off grid or sustainable housing as well and aim to work in a company helping people develop and produce these types of properties and housing. Should of studied architecture lol.
My current garden while small by most peoples standards bring myself and my wife a lot of enjoyment. It's great having it right there outside our door (literally) and it is very calming in a hectic life to work on the garden.

A Note: The trains are loud sorry, be ready to turn the volume down a bit. I got to work on how to make the depth of field on the dslr a bit better.
But yeah I wanted to say hi and show not all gardening needs to be done on a lot of space for those who are in apartments and reckon they don't have enough room.
