I've sold my 2000 Yamaha VStar 1100 Classic and went silly and purchased a Harley Davidson Softail Heritage Classic.

Nice. I still have a 750 honda shadow. Like the idea of a HD but don't look after the bike I have. Might build the next one. |

The Fat Boy Lo is my second choice in Harleys, I sat on one at the dealers a few weeks ago. The ride height and rider position is great. Enjoy yourself on it Big Dave. I clocked around 2000km on mine since I picked it up. |

The only thing I am going to do that isnt standard is add Saddle Bags and the same Pillion Seat as the one on yours LV! Some people have already said why dont you just get a Heritage because all that stuff comes standard, but the LO is not an ordinary Soft Tail. I was really cut between the Heritage, Fatboy and Fatboy LO. And I still may change my mind |

Despite the fact that I absolutely hate the look of the V-rod, my favorite at the moment is the Night Rod Special, just need to change out the poxy looking exhaust and you get a real mean looking bike. Attachment: 2010-Harley-Davidson-NightRodSpecial-VRSCDXb (Medium).jpg [ 43.25 KiB | Viewed 21726 times ] Cost to buy in USA ~$AU 18,000 , cost in Australia $AU 30,000 Maybe a buy one in the USA, have a road trip holiday and import as a used item |
