My bee sting allergy hit anaphalactic yesterday so after having a ride in an ambulance and spending a day in hospital it is unfortunately time to get rid of all my gear and hives as the risk is now to great for me to manage my hives.
I have one hive in a WSP lang box that was cleared of honey yesterday and is currently sitting with an empty super on top of a full brooder box. One additional WSP lang box full set of frames, base board and queen excluder for this as well. This hive needs to have the brooder box cleaned up, there are two frames of honey and brood in the first super at the moment ready to do this with but I got stung and it turned to shyte while I was doing it so never got done. Probably around 2kg of honey to take out of brooder box by doing this.
I also have a full size lang that consists of a brooder and two supers on it. I believe this is full so you should be looking at 30-40kg of honey or more straight up from this hive - was looking forward to harvesting this this weekend

.
The brooder box on this hive also needs cleaning up as it still has some top bar hive bars in it that I have been slowly replacing with regular lang frames. It would be good if the top bars could be passed onto Simo once cleared out as he has the top bar hive.
There are about two or three additional full size boxes with frames and other bases so enough gear to get another few hives started if you wish come swarming season.
Additional:
Wax sheets
2 x smokers
1 bee jacket with built in hood
1 full bee suit with built in hood
1 bee brush - seen better days
1 wax embedder
wire for frames
1 Norman Redpath "A Guide to Keeping Bees in Australia"
120 or so 550ml honey tubs (make 750 grams when full)
1 x 20 litre pail with lid and honey tap
1 x 20 litre pail set up with strainers for crush and strain harvesting
1 x commercial WSP clearance board for harvesting
1 x home made WSP clearance board for harvesting
1 x full sized clearance board for harvesting
What you have here is a complete kit suitable for some one with one hive who wants to expand or someone who wishes to get started.
I am asking $400 for the lot which if you harvested the honey and sold it you should go close to getting back immediately. I have been selling 750g of natural (crush and strained honey) for $10 a tub and can't keep up with demand through our local facebook buy/sell/swap page.
I have not offered this for sale anywhere else at this stage as I would love to see it go to one of the group. I will post up some pics in the coming days.
You can get me on 0409 312 907.
Cheers,
Mike
