We have four Wiltipolls (Wiltshire sheep without horns) for sale. Born in August 2015, 1 lamb ram and 3 females. Great, easy to care for meat sheep- self shedding, tend to be worm resistant, don't need crutching etc. $100 each. I am so tempted Peasants but not quite ready. Have replaced the fences on our new place however want to build a small yard so we can actually catch them if required. Also want to build a stock crate. They look good. Are these excess and how often do you have extras to sell? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Hi Ben, We grow the Wiltshires for meat, and yes sometimes have too many to fit in the freezer, so we sell them. We still have one of those females left, plus two late lambs who are not yet weaned if you are interested in the coming months- we are not in a hurry to move these ones on now having reduced the flock a little. We usually get two or three sets of twins each year, so would expect another lot around July/August which would be ready by December. A pen/yard is really essential! We feed ours every night, a token feed really, so they come to us expectantly every evening- then if we want to catch one we just feed them in the yard and can easily confine them. Let us know when you are ready if you would like some, and we can post when our next drop are ready at the end of the year. |
