| Post subject: | Indian Chillies |
I am looking for some seeds for chillies that are used in traditional Indian cooking. The ones I am after are about 100-120mm long and as thick as man's little finger. They are not overly hot, about 6/10, but have a distinctive flavour. They are NOT the long chillies they sell at supermarkets that rate maybe 3/10 for bite. Do any of the chilli experts on here have any ideas? |

This is the discription I lifted from the link below. Goan This plant was brought to me straight from India by a friend of mine. It is a must have for those who like authentic Indian cooking. The plant itself is quite large, as is the fruit. Fruit is plentiful, ripens from green to red and is medium to hot in heat. Ideal for use in large amounts in curries and of course the classic Indian dish, Goan Beef. Capsicum annuum. Can get the seeds here. http://www.sgtpepper.com.au/store/index ... ucts_id=41 |
