Anyone have any good recipes for fresh mung beans? its not really stew or soup season up here in brissie. my green manure crop is going pretty well, and it seems a bit of a waste with all those lovely beans just drying out on the bushes. i wont need that much seed for next year. |

You can store them dry as well. |

http://www.justbeanrecipes.com/inxbmu.html all recipes are for dry beans Mine are a bit behind yours it seems. I will try eating the pod and see what it tastes like. For some reason no one seems too mention it? Hope it doesn't kill me |

pod looks very hard and fibrous. not sure it would be edible, but you can only try. The beans are quite small too, so it takes a lot to make a cups worth for a soup or stew. |
