capers (together with finely chopped capsicum and cucumber ) added to mayonaise = tartare sauce. we used to make it from scratch when I was a cook, and no-one died from it hope this helps |

I just ordered a packet of seeds a few days back. I have had the berries pickled in Spain as a tapas were quite nice with a cold sherry |

I had a chomp on one the other day and survived, so I guess it's true. They are edible. I will let them mature fully and save some seed if anyone would like some. Cheers Dennis |

No worries Simo. I'm not sure how long the caper fruit will be before they are ready but the Jerusalem artichokes have died off so they can be dug any time. Cheers Dennis |
