Was looking at Bokashi Bucket that ferments food waste. Has anyone used one.
It seems like a good way to pre-process waste before composting or adding to the soil.

Yeah Duff - the MIL has one. Not ure of the sizes available but hers is only able to cope with the scrpas from one old lady - it's pretty damn small ( & not cheap). I read the blurb but I'm still unsure what the advantage is over straight composting.

Yeah - it's an amazing phenomenon alright. Good luck.

Don't you need a culture or something to start it off ?

I thought this topic was going to be about something totally different....

They have the buckets at our local B store, including the starter material. Never tried it myself and don't know of anyone who has so I can't comment.. Would like to know if they work ok..
