we had some nasty storms whip thru be we were unscathed, figured i would post a few pics of updates to stuff an maybe somting new :wink:

well the plant sale was a dilly, i sold 26 fruiting kits, and all the lettuce baskets. i sold many many bags of worm castings, but sold very few tomato plants.....but i was the only person selling mushie kits italian greens and worm shit....lol

laid down 1400' of water drip lines for okra today, along with other stuff....tired been a long day. any estimates on production? i got a figure in bushels per day....just wondering what you think? any takers?

well i am still alive....half way thru planting of fall/winter garden now. the market season is over, we had a great time growing, selling, and bonding with local eaters ;-]
i managed to grow 5738 kg of tomatoes this season, and a mountain of yellow summer squash.
the deer season is here, and should be quite brisk.

nearly done planting the fall garden, i will post some pics soon. i aquired the wood lot next door an have turned it into 2.5 more acres of gardens. my fall garden is the largest one i have ever worked..i now need a larger tractor..i could be dead by spring.....stay tuned.....

i'm going to start uploading some new pic's of my expansion soon. i have been soooo busy this year venison processing has been wide open since oct. we have reccived about 20 critters a week, and with only two of us it is all we can manage.
i planted a commercial sized collard field ~ 1200 head, and ~ 1000 broccoli with 400 head of cabbage...add in the beet root, turnip greens ,mustard,chard,lettuce, and we have quite a winter garden.
i am entering into year around growing now with the extra greenhouse space.
just letting all you know i'm still alive an well

Can see why those baskets walked out the door...look cool.
Really like ur setup... something like I am trying to work towards.
Do you use a seeder to sow the seeds? Like a Jang seeder?
I lived a few years in USA and really liked the idea of hunting for my winter meat supply !!
