Hello All South Australian's
I thought it would be great to have a topic about our gardens in SA.

Hopefully people will provide great insights on what plants have worked really well in their gardens.

In my garden I have a back yard consisting of
I have 2 established olive tree's
1 orange tree
1 mandarin tree
1 lemon tree
1 almond tree (birds get them all)
1 peach tree
1 peacherine tree
1 nectarine tree.

this will grow in the coming few years once my front yard project is completed

My front yard was just lawn 4 years ago, for the first 2 years it was covered with newspaper, straw, seaweed and horse manure. adding further newspaper and hay in the second year.
last year I planted heaps of veggies and got some bumper crops of zuchinni's, pumpkins, corn, borrage was everywhere as where sunflowers.
this year I have planted out a range of fruit trees, they will take a few years to get to the level of produce i would like to see but it is the first part of my food forest I am looking to have as a front garden.
the front garden is on the eastern side of the property so it has a little bit of respite from the hot afternoon sun in summer

there will also be ground cover crops placed in amongst the plantings, it is still probably 5 years away from its full productivity but it is on the right path
