Apart from the aquaponics I grow tomatoes in self watering/wicking tubs in one half of my greenhouse/shadehouse. Have one asparagus bed that is producing well this year and it has been getting the fish poop from my small trout system all winter/spring.
Got three sorts of potatoes growing in two half blue barrel and a bath tub wicking beds
Various other stuff

Dunno whats going on with the tomatoes. Have been hand pollinating but the fruit set is very low.
Seems weird as I thought it would be high as we have had mild/cool weather, but maybe its been too cool :dunno:

Finally got some colour on a couple of tomatoes :joy:
Cherokee Purple and BrandywineNot (Was meant to be Brandywine from a seed save but seedlings all came up with regurlar leaf and not potato leaf, so crossed with something)

Been picking and eating a few tomatoes but they are slow this year with the overcast cool weather. But we will still have a tomato and onion pie with xmas lunch :drink:
One Cherokee purple not quite ripe and some BrandywineNots (accidental cross with something), but they taste great, and only early in the season too.

Wicking beds seem to really work well for potatoes. These are growing in a homemade compost that I built up as the plants grew. This is the third ferret in this bed for a feed

All tomatoes removed from greenhouse today, as they have pretty much finished and are all brown. Still have to healthy and producing plants in the AP. Now to decide what to grow in the wicking beds over winter.
