G'Day Gang,
Just had a sprayer fail and thought it a good idea to give everyone a heads up. Fortunatly I only had soapy water hit me in the face when it failed but could be very nasty if you were using something worse.

Cheers for the heads up! I've got one of those... Was there any clue why it failed? sun damage or relief valve not operational?

I think sun damage was the cause although it was not in direct sun, age might be a factor as well. I guess it may have been 3 years old.

I've had one of those before too, could have been very nasty, never really thought about the stored energy in a pump spary unit.

Thanks for the heads up and glad it was just soapy water not anything worse! I have one of those also.

Yea I have a few of those as well, basically a pressure vessel. Close call.
