G'Day Gang, Just had a sprayer fail and thought it a good idea to give everyone a heads up. Fortunatly I only had soapy water hit me in the face when it failed but could be very nasty if you were using something worse. Attachment:

Cheers for the heads up! I've got one of those... Was there any clue why it failed? sun damage or relief valve not operational? |

I think sun damage was the cause although it was not in direct sun, age might be a factor as well. I guess it may have been 3 years old.

I've had one of those before too, could have been very nasty, never really thought about the stored energy in a pump spary unit. |

Thanks for the heads up and glad it was just soapy water not anything worse! I have one of those also. |

Yea I have a few of those as well, basically a pressure vessel. Close call. |
