I put down a "Medieval Amber Ale" and a Ginger Beer yesterday. The Amber recipe was from a friend and is supposed to be about 9% !!!!! It has got French Oak chips and Cammomille tea as well as hops and honey. it should be an interesting brew, if it is any good I will be putting it into next year's H/B Comp Ginger beer will be more like 4.5 - 5% and is J and I's standard drink these days. Based on a kit but with extra goodies in it So, has anyone else got anything down ath the mo? Cheers Axl |

Right, I've kegged and Bottled the Yak. It was quite interesting getting it out of the fermentor with that many hops t block the outlet. It is a seriously hopped brew. Next, I dont usually use sugar and I dont usually brew lagers, but I had these ingredients in the cupboard for a while and figured I'd better use them. Golden Harvest 1 x Can of Cascade Golden Harvest 1kg of Coopers BE2 500g of Coopers LDM The zest of 1 Lime @ 10 mins 15g of Amarillo Hops @ 5 mins |
