Our favorite water saving technique has been to not use the flusher. We humaure compost which not only saves on water but gives us a better supply of compost. Win Win. Also with the really hot compost one gets doing humanure, most of the things that the books tell you are compost "no-nos" are actually just fine in really hot compost. Some other forums and message boards I've been active on in the past have to do with composting and humaure composting. |

Yeah Taking a "leak" in the garden is a great idea for a guy....you dont get told off for leaving the seat up all the time....and they cant complain about those"dribbles" Urine diluted with water from aproxx 20 part water to 1 part urine is safe without burning any thing delicate(seedlings) Depending on plants ages, stage of growth, etc the ratio can be changed down to 15 parts to 1 ratio... Tezza oops.... Id be more interested to hear about your humanure Lynx... Id love to intergrate my poo into my aquaponics system.... Tezza |
