Was only thinking today of running a pipe to a 200ltr olive drum from the shower inside. I only use pure soap and have plans for a new shower. The idea being that for a quick shower I could use the one that collects the water. Then with a pump and float switch I could spray the water around the yard. |

I have been doing that for years [7] seeing our block is on a slope i just buryed the drum and run the hose downhill and when i put in a new tree just leave the hose there for a while then change it to another we also have a pumped version on the washing machine it pumps to the front lawn |

Not a bad idea, but you lost me at the watering the lawn. That only makes it grow. Spraying is not a bad idea, soap is used as a wetting agent and for aphids and whiteflies. Drop a little seasol in every now and then. |

Would make fertilizing the fruit trees easier. Fill up bucket with liquid B&B, add some seasol. Then tip it into the shower drain. |
