Hey Guys. Recently my Bore has been pumping a lot of sand, this is our only water source so it is a bit of a concern. Has anyone had this problem? Im hoping it is due to the 4 meters of rain we've had this wet season stirring up the aquafiers and not the possibility that there could be a hole in my bore casing! This could really end up hurting my wallet! |

Any idea how far down your water is Big Dave? What are your aquifers, eg limestone, granite etc? |

Dont really know Faye. I dont remember getting too much info on the bore when I bought the place, it should be a registered bore so someone will know. |

My brother used to have a bore, high in calcium. Every time it rained heavily it would colapse. It would take a couple of days for the sand to settle back down |

Thats good to know, thanks. I'll wait till the rain settles down and we get into the dry season before I start panicking. |
