We get a lot of King Skinks at our place. They LOVE the fish food, and the grapes, so are always near the house. One very large one regularly gets into the roof and we hear it moving around.
One day...we could hear it in the roof....a clonk clonk of its feet followed by the slither of its tail...then there was an almighty crash and bang, followed by a smaller skink falling from the eaves and landing flat on its back near the back door.....

Is it dead?????
We looked.....and it didn't move......we looked up and saw the big one looking down at us....

We decided the one on the ground was either dead or completely stunned, so a prod was required. This seemed to give it the heart-starter it needed and it leapt up in horror and ran away!!
Fortunately, no animals were hurt in this story!!
