Hi, I got a small 8 frame beehive last January and was looking forward to receiving a plentiful harvest of honey. I live on a small land holding on the edge of a country town with plenty of flowers available virtually all year round. My farming neighbour planted a couple of paddocks to canola this year and I asked him to let me know when he sprayed for bugs so that I could lock my bees away.
