A bloke near my parents farms black currant and a few years ago I got some cuttings but they failed to strike, I might try again this year if I can get some cuttings, if I get enough to strike you are welcome to some for free. Obviously that is a long shot for you so if you want a quicker solution I would contact "Tass1trees" and see if they can get some in for you, I have previously bought red current and white current off them but unfortunately both died after a few years. |

I think they are a fairly seasonal thing, no one wants to buy bare sticks in winter when they drop all their leaves... I bought some huge plants from Bunnings a few years ago, they had lots of them at the time. As much as I hate recommending people going to Bunnings, it's the only place I've seen them. Some stores have more variety of plants than others, you'd have to find a good plant one.. I got them in Melville.. Option 2, try tass1trees, they specialize in fruiting plants and have many different things, more than what they say on their website. Worth a try ringing them http://tass1trees.net.au/ |
