Hi all I have 5 Coffee trees that i want to plant but would like some feed back as to where to put them.... The ground isnt all that great but can put goodies in the hole and fertilize which does bring the ground around .... I have a spot in mind in open sun...Water pipe runnng straight past replacing some crappy looking palms(not looked after much)...If I need them shaded I can put some shade cloth over them til they get bigger....

how much water and liquid fert will they need??

Perhaps if you can get wallabies to eat the coffee beans, then collect the wallaby poo.... :thumbright:

Well we do have alot of kangaroos do theydo the same job.... cant be anyworse then decaf drinkers coffee goes through hehehehe... and I dont have to collect the kanga poo our NEW PUP does that for us hahahaand leaves it at the front door.... mind you the roos do come right up to the verandah at night while we sleep....

The best position for a coffee tree is in the jaws of a wood chipper. They are classified as a weed tree here.
So much hassle getting a few beans prepared to use just not worth it, imo.

I know whats the worst place. On the veranda behind a table so I didn't remember to water the poor thing.
