 this one has been in a pot for over 18 months is always in fruit Not too hot but still hot |

I'm still waiting for mine to take off again. I've only got the one type, habanero, and I have them for two reasons, firstly because they are so beautiful with their bright orange fruit, secondly, because they are great to catch people out who think they like hot chilies, but don't really know real hot chillies. |

I like Bird's eyes, they are colourful, hot enough , and best yet - you never have to plant them  , that's what birds are for This one got established in the bathtub bed out the back of the AP system, it is in shade till just after midday, and is always flowering, or fuiting, I hacked the shit out of it a few months back, and it has come back fighting A couple of years back I made some chilli oil with the bird's eyes and added it to a stir fry, after about 5 seconds, the kids started saying, "It burns Daddy , It Burns!!!"

yeah, both my girls learnt the hard way when they were young (about 3), about picking and eating chillies. Worked though ! Went through the same lesson with the brother-in-law's galah and how, just like I warned, that it will bite
