Do they have names? What does the dog think of the clucking tin lunch-palace so far? |

There is Esmeralda, she's one of the smaller darker Pekins, and the three orange layers have been named: Beyonce - the biggest and best looking, and the other two are Michelle and Kelly. (Wild guess who named them). I think the others once they get a little less skitish will get their own disney names. And the lab wants to get in and have a play, but he doesn't seem to be attacking the door, or trying to dig under. So far anyway. Chickens couldn't care less about him. I'll add it to the BYAP page, it's a little quiet in here. |

Looks good mate, yes it is quite but people have to learn this is the place for gardening and animals other than aquaponics. In a sense even RAS can go here as it is animal raising and not aquaponics. Cheers |

Can't force people to go certain places, but I thought it was a little more suitable here. I like BYAP, but a lot of the threads are identical, "My plants are dying" "My plants are yellow" "My fish are sick" "My fish are dead. I like to focus more on what we actually grow, far more fascinating to me. A different variety of tomato or cucumber is far more interesting to me than why plants won't grow when people don't put enough light above them... |

Yes you are right there with the same questions that the use of the search button or google can provide the information for them. I like to update my thread as I can then search back if need be. Cheers |

Hey, nice work! But why do it so strong? Any foxes in your area? Cheers! |

I've probably got foxes around, but I'm more worried about my dog. When he was a puppy, he managed to rip the doggy door out of the door three times, and only managed to hold him at bay when I reinforced it with steel. I don't want him finding that sort of weak spot and focusing on it. It would end badly. |

Labrador. He's a good dog, not vicious at all. But I think the wolf instincts kick in when he sees a flapping bird. |
