Just after some information! Should you keep the lamp on 24/7 for heat in the brood box |

If you mean for day old chicks yes and it should be slowly raised each week as they grow to reduce the temperature under it at groud level. I think 37.5 degrees for the first week but don't hold me to it. There are tables available that list the temp for each week and others that you get with some lamps that tell you what height to have it each week rather than temp for if you don't have a thermometer. Got our latest batch of day olds for school yesterday
