You know where I am....... :)

Yes It does help to know where people are.. No sense recommending someone plant vanilla when they live in Tassie... :)

Mine already says the area I'm from, and for those not familiar with our climate.....its hot and (mostly) dry in summer, and frosts are common in winter. Many gardening books/magazines will class our area as arid, but we have the 'mighty' Murray River close by. Most crops grown are irrigated, (grapes, almonds olives & citrus), so the area doesn't look too arid; just hope the river keeps flowing!

I've updated mine, I thought everyone would know where Kallangur is. After all I live there and that should be enough to put it on the map. :P

We can add what zone we are in as well. Just in case you don't know what zone a place is in.

OK so I've added our climate to my profile too.

As computers are a means rather than an end for me, I'd be grateful to hear how to insert my location. Sorry to be a nuisance, but I've wanted to add to my signature for a while but cannot fathom how to. If I go into my profile and try to insert my location it won't accept it.

Maybe I'm not in the zone.

No worries GS, click on user control Panel above the Profile and add things from there, click to save, click profile again and on the left you can click to edit signature, avatar etc, you have to click submit at the bottom of the page for changes to take affect

Now I feel really stupid :bash: because for the life of me I can't find a User Control Panel anywhere, near any Profile or not. I presume I should be in the Introductions forum although I've tried several different pages

Is it because I'm on a Mac computer :dunno:

It must be the Twilight Zone. We moved here 4 years ago right into the 1970's!

As for the bank account Nocky, that would send you bankrupt. Even the Nigerians feel sorry for us and send us money!
