Not sure, these ones grew pretty fast. Garlic got out of the ground to the same height when I started to pick them.

One blocker turned up today. Was the 100mm one, so I have these blocks of soil sitting on my kitchen table. Its a lot of fun, like building sand castles with a bucket. :D

Rest of the blockers turned up. Now have little blocks every where. I like the 20mm ones made with worm castings. Will try come COS in them and some other fine seeds. The blocks hold together really well. I'll take some photos later.

I'm still finding pumpkins and sweet potatos. And a friend asked how deep I went when I dug up the sweet potatoes and I replyed just the ones sticking out of the ground. :D But apparently they can go a lot deeper than that. I'm still eating the first batch and I gave the second lot away. And thats just one color. Also my choko vine was seen on the other side of the yard getting friendly with a grape vine. :confused: I did manage to get all of the pumkins out of the trees.

Good stuff, we have a sweet potato in a bathtub that we just keep finding more and more from. The ones in the big dirt garden seem to just like growing vines and more vines rather than tubers so we have started to eat the tips in stirfirys

Add some worm juice to the dirt garden. It helps inoculate the sweet potato.


Ripped a few sheets of tin off the varanda and replaced it with lazerlite. Will be able to keep my fruit trees in full sun over winter and plant out in spring. I have another 5 sheets but will leave it a few days to see how much heat there is.
