Did you get a photo Gazza?
Brad doesn't walk, he runs - straight for the old sweet potato patch, then to the bucket of sprouting wheat and if the back door is open, a lap through the house. lol

Is Brad Pigg in with the chickens Faye?

I would have though most pigs would have eaten them by now?

Brad has his own barn, next to the chickens, but he runs with them in the evening. He used to live with them, but if they don't get out of the way he would step on them and likely break a leg or damage them. He is a great hunk of pork on hooves.

The olive trees are in the bloom, a Manzanillo variety with a driveway border of rosemary. Smells beautiful and keeps the weeds down.

Lots of weeds still to contend with, after a combination of rain and sunshine they are looking at their best, dammit.

I like the way olives hum with activity when in bloom, the bees just love them.

You must have been bored Charlie.
Here is a bobtail that positioned himself for the camera. He was seen earlier with his girlfriend, they are both big. Apparently they have one partner for life, pearls of wisdom from Michael. I saw two side by side at the shop the other day, missed that magic moment with the camera, I fear. Damn customers.

I had a bit of trouble with aphids and sooty mould as well as scale on my orange trees so I sprayed them with a pest oil. Yesterday i felt like such a traitor, I still manged to find a whole host of good bugs, wasps, spiders, so many different types of ladybirds, their pupas, and larvae, soo awesome. I can't believe how much life is being supported on those citrus trees, I must have spent over an hour and a couple of hundred photos.

This little ladybird is caught doing what they do best, eating an aphid.

This is the most familiar larvae of a ladybird that i have seen, the one below is possibly a different variety of ladybird larvae, sooo excited.

I think I am developing a new respect for flies, as there are oh so many different types. This is a little ripper!

I think this is another ladybird larva, yet to be confirmed. Nature is soo wonderful, because you don't always know what things are and the excitement is still to unfold.

One click of the camera and the little moths starting wanting food.
Mum didn't stay away for long and if you could hear the commotion, they do not like anyone near their nest.

Sunday morning tea, everyone is special when mum and dad come to visit. Usually it is just scones, so this was something a little different with all the finery. They got a pleasnt surprise when they were led to the dining room. My mum loves food.
