I know what you mean about early morning work to avoid the heat, SM. I get free mulch by the 'Jim's Lawnmowing' trailer load (i.e. about two m3 at a time). The downside is that I have to fork it out of the trailer and on to the garden, so I've been shovelling by 6am for the past few days. It's not a lot of fun then, but better than later in the day. I'm past fed up with this humidity. Like Tristrin, autumn is my favourite time.

SM I will be drinking the EB, I just finished another 2 hour run, brownie points are mounting, but they seem to expire after 24 hours :dunno: this humidity is cruel

Just finished my evening shift and nice to get home to a fairly cool house. I took some of my BSFL into work as they are all interested in my fascination. They do think I am a weirdo but a few are very interested in them .I am collecting all food scraps from work as I dont get enough to feed the thousands with scraps from 2 people. They are real eaters!

with daylight saving still happening here, we are 3 hours ahead of you, so I'm snug in bed when its still your evening :sleepy:
I dont mind DLS in summer as I can get lots of work done outside in the evenings, but when it continues well into autumn it gets hard to get out of bed in the mornings.

Nocky, you are off the hook for not being awake earlier. You wouldnt have needed too much rocking last night to put you to sleep. With hard work and a few EB ,who needs Temazepam.
Sorry if I kept anyone awake with the sound of tapping on the computer keyboard.
I will try and be a bit quieter tonight!! :D

Tristrin, when does your daylight savings end? I didnt realize it was still going. I enjoyed daylight savings when we did have it cos as you say you can do lots more in the eve. Really doesn't alter my life one way or the other but obviously there were enough people over here that didn't like it and their vote won!

DLS, now there's a whole debate in itself....

Wonder how long it will be before they bring in another trial in W.A..

DLS, I can take it or leave it.

But it does remind me of a hilarious front cover of "The West" during the debate. It showed a picture of people in Melbourne drinking beer at a street side table in the sun at 7pm with DLS next to a picture of Scarborough beach in near darkness at 7pm with out daylight savings.

:dunno: Not sure what comparisons we were supposed to make, never thought I needed day light to drink beer before

Shouldn;t that be enough reason not to have daylight saving.. Think of all the people you would save by having less "drinking in the sun" time.......
