G'day everyone.

I am Stretch, and I live in Narrogin Western Australia. I came here via Nocky's webpage. I don't think we know each other but I have been using his weather page for a while, as it is based around the corner from me, a lot closer than the BOM site, and gives me relative info to my location.

We breed chooks and ducks for the table, and I will also breed rabbits to eat as well sometimes. I will be setting my vegie patch up again after a disaster. We experimented with turkeys a while back, and they destroyed everything! Lesson learnt! We have fruit trees and will be expanding all of our food production over the next year.

I hope to learn from you all here, and will happily share my knowledge as well.

Welcome stretchman.
We had turkeys for a while, but they got quite aggressive, so made a nice Christmas dinner :)

Hows it going Stretch? Good to see you here.

Great to see more people in Narrogin, you guys really have a community going down there, we have quite a few members here and on the aquaponics forum.

You should ask to see Nocky's aquaponics system one day, I'm sure he would love to show you..

Narrogin seems to be the place to be. I'm curious as to how come you are called Stretchman, is it 'cause you're really, really tall???

Thank you everyone for a warm welcome.

Yes Faye I am tall, 195cm (6'5" in pre decimal currency). When I was a teenager I was also very skinny (77kg) so looked all stretched out of proportion. I have filled out now, so the "Stretch" name still fits, though now it is my belt that is stretched!
