Did anyone see the liftout in Fridays West Australian, "Days of Change"?

Well nearly 3 years ago we installed a 6 bed aquaponics system for a family in Kalamunda. They are certainly going full steam ahead spreading the word about sustainability and there is a whole movement happening. They are involved with a newish group of like minded people who meet in the Kalamunda Town Hall- 9am Sunday 1st May- tomorrow to conincide with the Kalamunda Markets. Visitors are welcome - I will be giving a talk about growing fish and vegetables aquaponically, just in case any of you may be interested.
I will let you know more after tomorrow :)

'Twas a busy day up at Kalamunda. I got there at 8.30am and the atmosphere was really great, there was a band playing, food smells and fresh flowers and produce everywhere. There were around 30 people there for the talk, which probably went for nearly an hour, oops. Channel seven were filming and Neville Passmore was there cooking on the barbecue. It looks like the "GIY" program will possibly spread to other communities and grow right across Australia like it has in Ireland. Membership is free and so far they have around 90 members. It went well Sue.

'It went well' sounds like an understatement to me. Well done Faye, and well done Kalamunda.

What do you reckon is the chance of converting aquarium keepers to aquaponicists?
