Your not going to believe this...in the time it has taken from my last post to this, Grunt got out of the yard, was hit by a car, taken to vet for painkillers and died in my arms...sometimes you just can't win :(

ohh! Gnash that post has brought tears to my eyes. So sad you have lost your best mate.I have only just been checking out shenton park dog home myself as i want to adopt a dog and refreshed this site as you seem to be the only one posting here ( I have been enjoying your posts and a bloke and his dog is so special ) Even though I only knew Grunt from your posts I know the pain you will be feeling.

Really sorry to hear about your beloved dog. I know how much our dog means to us, she is well and truly another member of our family.

Ok so not to much done today, the olds visited, raided the veggie gardens, ate lunch then left, quite possible that this payback for all the years I did it to them :bash:
I also spent a couple of hours with the Hammer and chisel organizing a headstone for my boy, full kudos to the people who work with stone, my two hours only got me 1mm down :ohdear:

The veggies are powering along and my corn is starting to come up in the other rows :thumb: The squash is loving the tyres and the old man gave me some zucchini seedlings :thunbs:
The Broad beans are hating the wind and it looks like they will have to come out soon but we have been eating a heap of them and frozen some as well.
