Sorry to hear about your dog gnash. We lost our 11yr old German Shepherd last week too, it really took me by surprise just how much he meant to the family. Otto just passed away nice and peacefully in his sleep so can't ask for better than that.

Yep...it's a real bugger when it happens.

I'm glad to hear that it was in his sleep tho....you can't ask for more than that.

I'll have a quiet one for him

Bit busy again today, nearly finished my last dirt garden....all 15ft of it :) .

Managed to get a trailer load of sheep manure on Saturday, topped of the tyres and actually finished running the retic lines to all of them

The rest of the gardens are going well, loads of carrots (and the next lot just shooting out of the ground now) the leeks are looking good, beetroot happening etc.

The next lot of sheep manure should finish the long garden with enough left over for the square on in the yard :thumb:

Only tried steamed beetroot the other day. It was nice and added a lot of color to the vegies. Going to try it roasted next.

I like that you don't seem to have much problems with weeds. I can graze sheep in my yard at the moment.

Try steaming red cabbage above your spuds for mashing, the spuds come out blue :).

There are no weeds Duff because there is no water, only to the beds....it has been a shocking year here I just had a farmer come in and explain he's dropped $300k plus this year with no return and because he locked in his grain tonnages early...what he doesn't have to sell... he has to buy :scared2:

Disturbed is a Hard Rock/Metal band where that Smiley Face originated 12 years ago.

The only clip I could find with that face was their cover of GENESIS's "Land of Confusion"

Might just get me some of that

Not much done over weekend, the squash are powering on, same as the zucc's, the rockmelons and green melons have both sprouted and the pumpkins have finally started to move along.

Trying to get another trailer load of sheep poo to finish the long garden and the young one planted brown onions down the ridges on the same garden over the weekend and i got more "red legs" onions to finish the job.

Dwarf beans haven't really liked where they are :poke: and the peas are on there last legs as well as the broad beans :swing: (which were going to be yanked out last week but are still producing a few late comers).

Pic's later
