Knocked up a Awesome Risotto tonight, Home made chicken & Vege stock.

Got some Tomatoes from the Farmers Market and let them ripen right up, then cooked them up, added some Home grown shrooms and herbs then some chicken.

Then done the rice and mixed it all together then threw in some Silverbeet (in place of spinnach) and it was Awesome... Kids love it too... the ripe tomatoes are so sweet......

This is how the evening went. After days of mouthwatering discussions about how Jamie Oliver would do it, we kind of decided that Spanish rabbit stew in the pizza oven would be the go. After being given a rabbit, no it wasn't a fluffffy one, it was ready prepared and frozen, woohoo. Thanks to the "peasants" we present the following.

Ooh it was soo yummy. Jamie says that you should buy wine for cooking that you would drink, so we bought extra and followed his instructions with the sauvignon blanc, a delightful drop that works equally as well in the pot :thumb:
Pizza were cut to include Joker :) He is a very lucky dog indeed.

Yes we learnt all about having the right heat for cooking pizza.. For the first two pizzas, we weren't anywhere near hot enough..

That last one in the pics worked perfectly, oven was nice n hot by then.

And the rabbit? Well, it was so good that Faye is off getting a bird cage to convert it into a rabbit cage... :)

Just Threw on a huge pot of soup, few crook kids round the place so an infusion of vitimins should help things back to order!!!

Heres My Recipe for this batch;

3 Chicken Fillets (I used skin on Breast as they were cheaper than thighs for once)
2 Spanish Chorizo
2 Cup Veg Stock
2 Onions
1 Leek
1 Fennel
8-10 Carrots
2 turnips
1 Sweed
1 Bunch Celery
1 Bunch Bok Choi
1 Bunch Silverbeet
3/4 Small Potatoes
1/4 Pumpkin

Cut Up onions and Thinly Slice Chorizo (5mm slices) and Fry these up Nicely together with the Chickent Breasts, season with rock salt and cracked pepper, Once cooked, Add 2 cups of stock and simmer for around 5 mins.

While this is cooking Rough cut all veg up and get them into a Large pot, Remove fillets from pan and pour all the stock and chorizo over the cut up veg, cut up chicken fillets and add also, top up with water.

Then Simmer the whole thing until ready, I dont add the Silverbeet until about a hour to go or it dissapears.

NOTE. As iv got small children i dont add the chorizo to the pot when i add the pan full of stock and chicken. i put it aside in a bowl and then once the soup is cooked i quickly warm up chorizo and add to Who ever wants it's Bowl, as simmering the chorizo over 2-3h of cooking will put a fair whack of flavor into the soup.

Serve with Freshly Toasted Sourdough and Real Butter :) Now all im going to think about is dinner time!!!!
