I am 38 with a wife and 2 boys. One 16 and one 13. Kind of new to farming. We have about 50 Black Austrolorp chickens, 9 champagne rabbits, a small fruit garden and working on my aquaponics system.

Thanks, I like to jump in, usually without looking which isn't allways good. But everything is coming together. We hatched about 40 chicks in the last 2 weeks, some with the hens, and others in a incubator. Also put some duck and goose eggs in the incubator a couple days ago. So hopefully in a month we will have ducks and geese.

Hi Helomech
Wow, sounds like you are doing heaps already! Fantastic! Are the rabbits and poultry for eating or selling? Good luck with it all :thumb:

They are for both. Been selling some chickens lately, but the rabbits are just getting started. The rabbits are also for the kids to bring to the 4-H fair.

Thanks
