File comment: Well I've not had much good to say about rocket in the past... and still don't.

Ohhh well maybe it's ok in quiche. And sprinkled through a ragu and ricotta lasagne... but apart from that..

I learnt the hard way with rocket as well Gaz. Planted a great big bed of the stuff then found out I didnt really like it that much and had a huge over supply :bash: Its okay in small amounts in a salad or in a sandwich but I stuggle to find much else to do with it :dunno:

Great story Gazza! Love the pics, good to see the progress over time and the difference having a useful helper makes :)

I'm not a fan of having much in salads and the like, but have been pleasantly surprised at how well it can be hidden in many cooked dishes such as stirfrys, quiche and lasagne. We also tried a rocket hommus which was.... not horrible.

Thanks Faye, things are starting to pick up in the garden so hopefully there should be some more pics up soon. The dry month we just had hasn't helped, but with the rain this week I'm expecting the veges to take off!

A bit of rain and increased hours of sun does wonders, things should be cranking along nicely in a few weeks time.
