Wicking bed up and running and in about 6 weeks was overflowing. Wish i had taken photo. Had a huge amount of red legged earth mites which ate most of the lettuce.

:joy: Hey ho! the seamonkey farm is still alive and kicking. I wish i had the camera ready the other day. The beautiful pooch was swimming with frogs while i was mowing the weeds with hand mower. Took 3 hrs to clear half the area around the weekender. Yay! another 3 hrs to go. I need a lotto win seriously!! The wicking bed is great and everything in it is going crazy. The broadies are huge and lettuce are almost out of this world. Had a leek that was nearly the size of a king brown(Beer bottle) and do have a photo of it. Hate to say, it out did my growbed leeks . I love my farm because there are no snails!!!!

:scared2: Im sorry but I have no photos. Well I do ,but I have to download then resize. I havent regained energy to do that yet. Went to farm yesterday to mow what I imagined would be the rest of the area that I didnt finish when I was there last time. My estimate, another 3 hrs. Bugger me  The area that I had mowed a few weeks ago had grown back and needed remowing so from 10am til 4pm I got all the original mowing redone plus a half of what was left. :ohdear: Next visit will be last lot. The redbacks in the shed were the size of golfballs so I squirted them with the outdoors mortein gun. Harvested all the broadies and ended up with 870g of beans after removing from pods. :joy: Got some of the garlic out but still more to come
Dog was loving swimming in her little pool and was amazed to spot the little frogs. She was so good with them. Not so good that she found something extremely funky to roll in :run:
So happy that mice and rats have stayed away.
Termites have also stayed away.
I planted 3 fig trees last time and put large mesh surrounds but the sheep had knocked them over and trees no longer. I still have 5 left to plant. One water tank of roughly 4000L has emptied. I think sprung a leak. But still have a 4000L plus 110,000 overflowing :thunbs:

Beautiful Seamonkey, I really think you need a bigger mower. When time is money - the right tool for the job -and all that stuff. Nice beans.

I have decided tomorrow will be a good day to check out what is lurking in the river :scared2: I shall try for yabbies or marron as it is the season. I wont be keeping them as dont have licence  but would like to know what is in there so when I build a large pond maybe i can have some locals in it. If i catch anything there will be pics. :joy:
