Cool gecko, love the pattern, this is one of the more interesting species around my place.

Definitely one of my favorite critters to find in the backyard. Nicer than these ones anyway :scared2:

Some are definately better than others. Come here and I'll give you some shoots that are good. I have grown a few at home, they took ages, but Brad Pigg still manages to root around and find the odd one. I think there are a couple of secrets to growing them, not sure what they are yet. I'm finding them a bit hit n miss. But they sure make a great ground cover in summer if they get water.

That would be great Faye! Do you just put the shoots in the ground and water well, or is it more complex than that?

Cuttings root easily in water and then plant.

Kohlrabi is pretty versatile Simo, looks like potato once peeled, tastes something like broccoli.

It's good raw in salads (gives a nice crunch) stir fried is nice or in stews. I've also tried making chips from them which works quite well.

Anywhere you find potato, carrot, turnip, parsnip etc you can probably throw in some K.r

plus they look really cool :thumb:

This cherry tomato loves growing next to the compost heap.

A couple of months Charlie, we have had stacks of fruit off it, unfortunately the fence broke behind it in the wind last night so it might have to get dug up soon :bash:
