Our Paw Paw trees in the southeastern US are different than the papaya.

LV, do you guys get light freezes in your area? I have what I think are papaya volunteers growing in a rosemary pot. I'm going to dig them out and I was wondering if it would be worth it to try to grow them to maturity. They would need to be able to survive frost though. I live it a very warm area, but we do get the occasional freeze during winter.

I live in a sub-tropical climate CC, we get an occasional light frost, maybe every couple of years. We might get down to 5° or 6°C overnight in winter.

Wow, it's been a really long time since I posted any updates. Such is the joy of being a travelling worker, so to be home more often and see the missus more we're relocating to Rockhampton.

Purchasing a lovely Queenslander with lots of raised veggie beds and a chook pen complete with chooks. Got to move my 3 native bee hives, 2 honey bee hives and 5 chooks to the new place. Not sure about the aquaponics yet, may start from scratch.

Looking forward to the change, the photos are from the real estate site. Planning on putting in a couple of fruit trees somewhere and a couple of more raised beds.

Those light sussex need some dirt, they look like poster birds at the moment :)

Looks very orderly, someone must have spent a lot of time keeping it very neat and tidy.
